Which system should i get

hey sup guys,

i had gamecube for a couple of years but i didnt really like it much because, of course as all of u know, the games suck...so i sold it and bought a ps2 and im really likin it....so i've been savin up, and i want to buy the nextbox or either the ps3....i havnt heard anything about either of the systems so i dunno which one to get...which one will have better games? what will their prices be? what will each of the systems have on them? anything that could be helpful to my decision would be greatly appriciated...thx

and dude, just type ps3 or xbox360 in google and it'll tell u everything u need.

im gonna wait for PS3.
ive had all ps's and im not about to get anythin else.

xbox360 has already said it will be between 250-300. the ps3 is thinking around 500 but no more than that. the graphics are the same and online will be bigger on xbox...more players and more things you can do at xbox market place. you can get movies and games and go on the internet and listen to music on xbox360. they want it to be the only thing in the living room. the ps3 is better technology wise. its a little faster and has more memory but not a noticable ammount. on a compare page i read in a forum it says ps3 can do more but is hard to use. as for the games it depends what you like. the more tactical shooting games you can trust on xbox. and the more unrealistic but fastpaced games will be on ps3. both will be great i may get both or my roomate may get one or the other. both are almost the same tho. theres not as much info on ps3 tho but it still has over a year. the xbox will be 64 players and online is free. id recommend just wait and see what games are launched with the xbox before saying no to ps3.

u know thats a lie derek. the consoles will be the same price or the more expensive one will flop. also the xbox 1 cost way more than 250 at launch dont want too think about the 360

I can't wait for Batallion Wars for GameCube.

IMO the PS3 looks most impressive.

Better start saving up.

yea, i like all the games xbox has over ps2......except for the GTA series, but that is all on xbox now so nvm...yea im thinking about the xbox 360 because i was dissappointed when i got the ps2 instead of the xbox....thanks for everyones help....i might do that aziz...check on google...thx everyone, if anyone else has any more suggestions, they would be appriciated

PS3 will be better than Xbox 360, one of the reasons is that PS3 has more time to work on their system, IMO I think Microsoft rushed Xbox 360 they released 2 Xbox systems inbetween PS2 and PS3, thats ridiculous.

PS3 wont cost more than 400 if anything

ok guys! i did my research...lol...ok yea the ps3 looks like it will be better...but whatabout the games..im into the shooting games like halo, or games like fable, and GTA...also sport games are good too...which do u think will have the better games

KillZone 2 will be hot. I never bought a PS1 nor a PS2 but it may change for the PS3.

i've asked a whole bunch of people and they all say ps3...now i got dissappointed when i got ps2 instead of xbox and i liked the xbox games better...will xbox 360 have pretty much the same selection of games as the first one did? im also wondering what the graphics will be like for each of the sytsems

they both have the same graphisc card. the both have the same processor. but the ps3 has more memory. the ps3 has a cell core for it and the xbox360 has 6 threads. im not sure what that means tho. the xbox360 is using some new dvd technology for the disks. the ps3 is faster and has more memory but so far it looks like the xbox can do more with xbox marketplace. movies, music, internet, download levels, and a friends network. the games on xbox in my opinion are better, in the shooting games which is all i play...but everyone has their own opinion. i read the ps3 has 7 controllers for racing and sport games i have no idea how that willwork on a tv screen. but keep in mind unreal tourn 2007, gears of war, call of duty 2, halo 3, perfect dark 0 are coming to pc and xbox 360 except perfect dark is only xbox. but as right now killzone2 is the only unique game for ps3. ghost recon is on both and looks sweet. im not getting xbox right away im going to do what i did 3 years ago. wait till both come out. play them both at some buds houses and then see what games i like better. 3 years ago halo won me over lame mario and it was tough but over socom.

Personally, I'll be buying the PS3. If nothing else for the backwards compatibility. Most of the Xbox games are also released on PC. I can't reason buying an Xbox when I can just get the games for my laptop. Plus, I love playing Madden, Tiger Woods, Gran Turismo, and a whole slew of other games on the PS2.

PS3 has the new format, its called Blu-Ray, the 7 seven controller is using Bluetooth technology, I think PS3 will have a better lineup of games including Killzone 2, SOCOM 4(bound to come some time), Metal Gear Solid 4, Dark Sector, Vision GT(new Gran Turismo), Moto Storm etc and a whole bunch of really good new franchises coming

I havent heard Xbox using any new format

Im gettin xbox360 mainly for 2 games Halo 3 and The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion

but make your choice i got the specs for both of em. Xbox360 Specs and PS3 Specs
