You type in music/artist and it creates a Radio station just for your tastes ;D

Yeah I use it alot when I want to find new artists. It's just really cool how you can put it an artist and get every other band that style's similar.

I like that Pandora mixes the music up a lot and plays similar sounding music, while from what I've seen, last.fm only plays music from the artist you put it. But then again, I may not be giving it enough time.

Last.fm works similarly to Pandora, but has alot more functions, and keeps a record of what you listen to, including what you play in Winamp/iTunes or whatever player you use. If you get involved in the community you also get real human recommendations instead of computer generated ones

like everyone has said pandora is by no means new. I have been using it for years. I like it, i have about 3-4 different channels
