Why are so many people saying GTA and GT? Seriously. It's basically the real world. If you want to shoot someone get a gun and do it. Want to steal a car? Go for it. You want to race? Get a car and start out in the amature series. Hardly something incredible and different compared to the real world.

Kinda like just about everything, it seems. A post apocalyptic scene seems popular among you and is probably my favorite...but Fallout comes to my mind...perticularly Fallout: Tactics. I like the Sci-Fi scene plenty, though i dont have a perticular video-game to fascinate myself with (havn't tried Eve, want to try Mass Effect, and Freelancer failed me). Mid-evil is up there with my post-apocalypse, but i lean more towards fantasy mid-evil...with Baldurs Gate and the like.

As far as GTA bein too much like real life, kinda agree with that. I'd say if you got time to kill, GTA > most T.V., and the story line is usually fun enough, but meh. I've always held firm with the beleif that anyone who plays SIMS should go decapitate themselves with a chainsaw and spare us from what must be their pointless, useless life, but ANYWAYS...

But yeah...nuff said...Fallout: Tactics would be my favorite...

It isn't the same though. Take the VA sniper a few years back - he didn't just a few gold stars and arrested. If you get a gun in real life, go into town, kill a few people, you just don't get the same affect as GTA. People look at you like a crazed serial killer, not a mild mannered, Russian (is he?) hitman. Ya know?
