Some reports are circling the net that ALL G92 and G94 dies are defective this includes the Following:
- 8800GT
- 8800GTS
- 8800GS
- Several Mobile Parts of the 8800
- Most of the 9800 Series
- Few 9600 GT Variants
If this is true, this isn't isolated to mobile parts and could become VERY costly for nVidia. Think their stocks are bad now, wait till this is confirmed or debunked.
Even more defective nVidia GPU's?

Mine is fine. I haven't seen any reports of this.... not like the XBOX 360 RRoD.

ya same my two g92's are fine.
However what I recall from the specific mobile gpu issue was that the problem would only happen due to the constant power on/off in laptops. Since the change in cold/heat literally separated the parts of the GPU.
As opposed to most desktop pc's which are kept on for longer periods of time.
I hope that the desktop cards don't have the same problem, but I wouldn't doubt it. Especially since if this is true it will certainly put NVIDIA out of business. Which would be a bad thing for every PC enthusiast.
