My 19" Samsung Monitor recently decided to stop working.
3yrs of dust build up, inverter, small siblings spilling things on it, who knows regardless I don't care I want a bigger monitor anyway.
I know little to nothing about monitors TBH, but I've got 2x4850's [one is being RMA'd.....destroyed during shipping] soooooooo I think its about time to experience more than 1280x1024.

I'd like to spend $200-$300ish and pref. 22"+ ....if that's possible at that cost.
I don't know brands AT ALL which is why I'm asking for help when it comes to monitors, currently using this Dell 17" PoS......yea.......please help meh!

For a 22" it's doable, but for a 24" monitor there are some at the 300-350$ dollar price range, but they are not of the greatest quality.

I myself use this 22" monitor Excellent response time, colors are quite vivid, and with the 2ms response time(white to black) color response is around the 6 ms range. Which isnt noticeable.

I feel noobish asking a question like this, but in games/movies and such is there a seriously noticeable difference going from 19" -> 22"
Aside from 3 Inches of course. I've just always been restricted in monitor size because of sh*tty desks now I got room I'd like to actually utilize my 2 4850's :whatever:

not really a great difference, it isn't like upgrading TV's from 720p to 1080p if that's what you're asking.

A decent 22" monitor will be more than adequate for anything. Anything bigger you are throwing your money at something you dont honestly need.

I ended up getting a 24" LG 2MS response and 10,000:1 Ratio.
It's pretty sexy.
