I know a big drawback for me when I went to an SLI configuration is the lack of a Dual Monitor setup without the use of a 3rd video card(PCI).

Well looks like Nvidia, after a few years have finally listened to its users and has gotten a set of drivers coming out that will support a second monitor while in SLI. Funny thing is they originally said this was not possible with software because the hardware itself couldn't support it.

Anyways hit the link to see pics of it in action...here's hoping for support in XP!!

I never even understood how it was possible that you couldn't run dual monitors.

If 1 card can run 2 monitors (Not processing graphically on the secondary.). Why can't 2 run 2?

And by cloning is it just a copy of what's on the main monitor? Or is it a full image that takes up 2 monitors with a single image? If it's the first, then what's the fucking point of taking a performance hit for a copy of what's on the main monitor?
