The whole 'dive into each charachters childhood' approach is a bit scary...especially when they start with driving such a nice f*ckin car off a f*ckin cliff, but otherwise i'd say it may turn out alright.

...and thats while forgetting that they actually have Spock loosing his temper, the star trek actually looking technologically more advanced and more 'stylish' than any other star trek space-worthy ship yet, and it looks like the invented a new never-before-seen race that pisses off the Federation. All-be-it great praise at the spectacle but come the f*ck on.

Not that impressed, but the director did do Alias...Might have to check it out.

I hesitate since the main acter looks like a one of those pretty boy actors with no acting skills (much like hayden christensen). We'll see I guess. It is interesting to see Sylar from Hereos in it though. That may make it worth while.

Nero just looks like a Romulan with head tattoos to me, not a new race, but I suppose I could be wrong.
