Everyone already knew that vibrations will slow access times on harddrives, if you put your computer next to a subwoofer and have real heavy bass it will slow the drive down, but you probably wouldnt notice it. As far as life span of the drive, that obviously hasnt been proven.


I do know it takes a factor in CNC milling machines. Ones I've worked on take solid state drives for the obvious vibration problems of milling steel on them.

so thats why my fps goes down when i yell at my comp because scroll lock just boom headshot me :) lol if only that were the real reason... >.<
