Put on headphones instead of the speakers.
word!!!!
headsets make hearing people sneaking up on u and stuff like tht easier

I have no idea how ppl can play CS:S properly without headphones.word!!!!

Go to your lil' sound adjustement in your taskbar, double click on it, if you dont see Microphone with them, go to Options then to Properties, after then choose Microphone from the choices, now go and mute Microphone (it will still work, just no more echo ;))

you just mute the input(auxilary)
