$24.95. It's suppose to be 6mbps DSL, yet I have never seen over 2.6mbps. And over the last week and a half it has sunk to this shit.

I wish there were other alternatives to the area. The only other alternative in the area is Comcast, for a slightly speedier connection for 2x the price, 5x the connection throttling.

Oh yeah? How about my internet? All in the name of not having dialup. 20$ extra a month for the mobile, or same amount for dialup ISP...... difficult choice. Here is how the internet gets to my computer:

Mobile broadband card to powered USB Hub > down 16 feet of PVC pipe to the peak of my roof > connected to a mini-itx 'server' that handles the internet connection sharing > wireless router > to my computer to get the following speeds:



Best part is, FPS games are actually playable! :P

I checked a lan line phone, we don't even have a dial tone... AT&T said they should have it fixed by 7pm tomorrow or they will start a credit for the time lost. Bastards wouldn't start the credit line to last week when this shit started.

Actually the other day my Cable and DSL went out and I was forced to use my Verizon EVDO Aircard, I was really surprised at how well it performed for games. Although LTE is a lot better.

Well you can name off on two hands the areas LTE is actually available. So yes better, no to being available.

Doesnt matter anymore, cable internet ftw.
