Intel doubles capacity, drops price in refresh of popular SSD line

"The new 2.5-in. Intel Solid-State Drive 320 Series offers models that more than triple capacity over the X25-M and reduces prices by up to 30%, or $100, on some models. While aimed at the laptop and desktop market, the consumer SSD has also been Intel's most popular model for servers in data centers."

Speaking from experience, the initial Intel SSD's are at the price point first advertised, so get them on release day if you can/want. After that they go into shortage and the price sky rockets and it takes months for them to stabilize.

Word of warning though, there is almost always a recall/issue on their initial ones. So just buy it and test it, but then disconnect it for a month or so before you trust your data on it :)

I know your an intel hater Shadow, but their SSDs have been top dog for quite some time, you may have to jump the hater ship and buy one :)

I never hated on Intel SSD's, just their shit overpriced CPU's.

however these SSD's are still overpriced considering they are last gen speeds plus die-shrink making them more unreliable than 34nm.
