Yea, I got my 9800 pro with my Alienware (I don't give a f*ck what you say, it is a badass computer) and it has worked for me pretty well.

Man, I checked my fps the other day. It was 29. It's a wonder I can even get a 1:1 ratio. ATI 9600pro.

the graphics from my 9800pro 256mb looks great. i can run any game on high. i wouldnt upgrade from a 9800 to a x800 its no big difference for the price. id go for that 7800 or whatever that new one is.
