Ok I wanted to play battlefield 1942 not 2 just 1. I 'm having troubles updating it I dont know where to put these files

bf1942_lnxded.static ?
bf1942_lnxded.dynamic ?

I have version 4.5 I got the update here http://www.eagames.c...sp?state=010010

I already replaced init.con and contentcrc32.con in the mods folder for 1942. Hopefully thats the right upldate I need if not I didnt save my old files so might need the orignals please someone help and tell me whats ul thanks

well sh*t I think I dl the wrong patch however I now have the v1.6 but still says wrong version maybe because I switched the mods/bf42 init.con and contentcrc32.con ??? I dont think they where ment to be put in the mods folder so if someone can send me the origanals that would be great.

screw it I unistalled it cause just gonna get one. lol I think the game is still in my system how do I totally get it out?. I already push disk in and uninstalled but that icon is always showing and will not fully delete helllp
