tiny problem with what they are showing, it is against the gen convention to use .50 cal weapons against human beings :)

but yeh the "m82 Barrett" kicks ass, heard a story from northern ireland that an ira sniper was loading his weapon and it fired, went through 6 houses and killed a man at the other end of the street now thats mucho power.

The BAR is actually the M1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle, not to be mistaken with the M82 Barrett. Of course they dont say which version, being the M82, M82A1, the "bullpup" M82A2 or the M82A3, also known as the M82A1M. Hope this clears up any confusion a slight bit of lazy language has obviously caused in some people

The bar is a completly different weapon, this is called an M82 Barrett
not a bar.
If you're going to be lazy and abreviate, us something not already in use.

being as how my father is a gunsmith, and i have just recently been picking up on the business, ive actually been able to shoot this gun myself.. it wasnt the most fun ive had, but it was pretty cool.. oh yeh, about that recoil--just because a gun has a high caliber, doesnt mean it would shoot with incredible recoil. all modern .50 caliber rifles have been equipped with a muzzle break.. they kick just about as bad as a .300 ultra mag.
