i got 1 gig of RAM. actually 2 separate 512's. right now, with no games or programs running such as AIM or STEAM or Xfire, i have 800000 K free RAM of the total 1gig. there isnt a game that takes up more than 100000 K of the 1gig itself, but when i was playing BF2 today. it said it went over my available virtual memory and the pagefile was expanded. i dont know if thats bad, bc i made my pagefile 512mb instead of 1gig for capacity bc TRIBES screwed it up and made it 2 gigs when the RAM went out. but now BF2 ran the pagefile up to 524 mb. which isnt alot at all but i never though there would be a program that could take it over 1gig. should i get more RAM? its never went over before today and i play BF2 all the time. usually BF2 takes up about 400000-600000 K of the 1048046 K. but somehow it went over that total and leeked into the pagefile which is what the pagefile is for. i was told 1gig of RAM runs better than more or less than a gig right now.
should i get more RAM?
