first off i hate gamespot, you can't trust the reviews. Just cuz some people don't like the game dosent mean you won't like it. Also i am not buying Quake 4 for the multi player, but for the single player. I have CSS for online play.

werd. Quake IV is a single player game, I hated Quake 3. Ever since 2 came out i was waiting for another single player quake game and now its here. I cant wait to get it, hopefully they have some old school characters in it

simply put if you were a quake 1 or 2 fan, buy this game. If you were a quake 3 fan, youll probably be disappointed.

Yeah I agree with haven gamespots reveiws are usually trash but more on topic Im thinking about actually buying this one just for the multiplayer, Ive never played any Quake game before so can anyone inform me on what the gameplay is like?

the reason gamespot gave it a bad review is that it said the multiplayer sucked ballz and only the singleplayer saved the game

its not that the multiplayer sucks, its just that it doesnt do anything special and its like every other deathmatch style fast paced shooter. Its basically just like deathmatch and ctf basic stuff like painkiller and doom mp.

like i said its sucks you will never play the multiplayer maybe once or twice dont waster your money dowload it

i been playing it for 4 hours straight really good game
try it even though the multi sucks this is a good game
