Any suggestions? CS:S works great. Day of Defeat Source hasn't worked in about a week. I've tried removing it, reinstalling steam, etc.
I don't get any error messages, it just starts to load, then disappears.

When I join my first server, it takes forever, but it's works. Your DoD probably works, but joining the games can sometimes test your patients.

no hes saying his DoD wont start, not a server wont load. I had this problem with Yuris Revenge, I would open it with the icon on the desktop and it would just close without an error or anything. I looked in the tech help on the website and couldnt find anything, but I found one thing that worked, doubt it would help in this situation though seeing as you dont have a cd for it, but when I would click on the cd through my computer and the drive it was in it would work that way for some reason. Idk, thats all I got.

when in doubt, delete clientregistry.blob in the steam folder.
