yeah, the malpractice insurance is to also protect them from losing their license to practice medicine, thing is it only will protect them for the smallest accidents, like giving somone a rash.
and also last I recall the lowest I saw the rates for the malpractice insurance here in mass was about 120,000 a year.for independant doctors, I whould think the hospitals whould pay for that coverage, if not...thats probably why doctors make so much damn money.

Nah most hospitals don't pay for the insurance. If americans weren't so damn money hungry then that sh*t wouldn't exist. f*cking malpractice insurance. Nurses can buy it also. It is alot cheaper for them though.
