spybot search and destroy
lavasoft adaware se personal
kaspersky anti virus
i have nortons anti virus and nortons firewall, a lot of people here are goingi to say it sucks...but check this-ive never ever had a virus or a popup so i like it. i have spysweeper too. nortons and spysweeper cost money. spysweeper is what best buy uses if you were to go there and pay them 40 bucks to spyware redicate your computer.

Pick yourself up a cheap netgear hardware firewall/router. Then you don't need to run a firewall on your computer.. :1:

AVG is a pretty nice free anti-virus program too.. http://www.grisoft.com

The two spyware scanners Derek listed are pretty much the standard. One will get what the other doesn't usually.

the first key thing you have to do if you get a new cpu. (that you didn't build) is delete all the built on spyware and gay sh*t. I am talking before you start playing anygames. this sh*t will f*ck your system before anything else. Anyway if you want i will talk to you on vent and tell you what to delete i think shadow did this for wally and i am sure he will do for you too. Anyway they only thing i use on my cpu is this

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
and i did use Trends micro PcCillion, but i recently stopped cause those asshats accidentally sent something in a patch to my computer that forced me to have to reformat. so whatever

windows has its own firewall...
"avast" is free virus protection and it is sweet.
"system mechanic pro " is a must
"regestry cleaner" is needed also.
"spy bot-search and destroy" is good but not needed. i use it just to be safe.
the colaburation of all these will keep your machine in top notch, unless you drop it!

ozzy, pm me and ill help you get them all set........heh... heh...heh....

Kaspersky OWNS all antivirus
Definetly HARDWARE firewall ( i got my router from bestbuy for $5 a/r)
Spybot SD
Spybot has built in registry cleaner and other usefull stuff
(you must click the "advanced" tab....Noob) :20:
You shouldnt need adaware if you use a good browser (not MSIE)

i have nortons antivirus/firewall, adware se, and spybot. i downloaded avast, and it says they may conflict. but with avadt, i cant get online unless i disable on access protection. whys that? i mean i can get onlnie just no webpages will load. im not that concerned, ive never had a virus or spyware get past nortons, it blocks everything.
