looking for a solid/unexpensive mic... suggest!

so what is a good solid mic that is not too expensive? also i need it to work with my 5.1 speakers, i dont want it to have headphones, interfer with my wonderful speaker sound! any suggestions fellas! let me know! i love you guys.

you can go to walmart and get a good mic just don't plug the headphone part in thr jack. or and this is cool they have surround sound headphones they are f*cking amazing i think i saw some for like 140 somewere in town anyway,


anyway according to shadow i need a new mic too

i have the logitec mic, it was 10 bucks. works fine for me. nothing special got it for free with the preorder of bf2.

The desk mic is the same exact one I have. I cant stand headset mics.

mine's got cushions galore on it, doesnt get uncofortable. plus i feel really special lik im on a swat team when i have my boom on my headset down :dork:

agreed wouldn't have it any other way...just seems like kind of a waste cause my speakers are pretty good o well

Headphones are SOOO much better for hearing people in CSS (or any FPS game really). Especially office since you can hear glass breaking across the map.. I too bought some pretty nice 2.1 speakers once.. its just not the same as head phones.. not even CLOSE..

On topic, I've had great experience with Logitech mics/headsets and Cyber Acoustics.. (I have this set right now http://www.futuresho....42&catid=10007)

if you have a good sound card then you can hear the glass break regardless if you are using headphones or not

Very, Very true i hear glass breaking from anywhere 5.1 style! but i gotz a good card indeed,,,
