Me and wyte put this together..
cpu
motherboard
memory
case

Its cpu says 1.4 but according to reviews you can get 2.2 with air.for $$$$67.00 64 bit cant beat it...

sh*t if i got a $100 video card it would beat most new dell's for $1000.
but its for other things.. forgot toatal price 218. shipped hows that???

Not too shabby for $218

Although I was really tempted the other day. I saw a guy selling 2 2.46GHz Intel Xeon processors for $190. I don't like intel, but making a multi-CPU computer would be really fun. I'm still considering it...

Hard Drive???? you are gonna need one of those!

Maybe even a cd or dvd-rom.

Unless you have these things laying around.

Sorry to burst your bubble but that wouldn't beat most P4's. Sure AMD has a decent edge on the gaming world, but Intel owns quite a bit of the rest of the CPU use spectrum, and the newer Intel chips aren't all that terrible.

Sure, I'll probably never buy Intel again (unless I buy said dual Xeon's), but they're really not that bad!
