[S.W.A.T. 2.0]

I finally found all my stuff. I got about $170 worth of hardware for $70 shipped.

My sound card. I spent $30 shipped on this brand new.

My speakers are no longer made. From everything I've read though they're supposed to be much better than Logitech's current 5.1 low end speakers (which cost alot more than I paid for these). Got these for $40.00 shipped like new.

The card is here and working great (nicer than my old SB Live! Value card).

We'll see how the whole setup sound once the speakers get here (probably on Monday or Tuesday).

$30 for a $90 soundcard is nice! I want 5.1 too, but I don't have room. I'd have to put them all together on the floor, and would lose the whole effect

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure where I'm going to put all the speakers really. I have just enough room for 4 of the 5, but my left rear is going to be hard to place...might have to improvise. It would probably be alot easier if I didn't have such a huge monitor too, takes up so much room (21" CRT).

OK, it's all set up. Wow, surround sound is awesome! I just played a lil HL2 in 5.1...I heard something behind me and was like "what the crap...oooooooh, that's right. Now I can here from back there!"

5.1 = highly suggested!
