My question might seem pretty dumb, but i think there is something wrong with my shader levels in Half Life 2 and was wondering if anyone could help me.

Anyway when i play CSS and the regular game, the hosties and important people in the regular game, have almost like a grid pattern on them from shadow i think and they are unusually bright. I know it's kinda hard to go by the description and not a picture but if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Mess around with your video options. What kind of graffics card you got?
