f*ck alpine.. first off.. this is thread has been dead for like a month. Second.... Ghozy already posted the exact same sh*t! lol

oh well not the end of the world just bored off my ass and this thread reminded me of the cool demos.

The only problem I see with making games like that is that they will lag so extremely bad, with the 30000:1 compression ratio, like they say in the credits: You're computer just generated 1.9GB of textures, music, choreography etc.. think what a 1mb game like that would require :perk:

Well you wouldn't have to use a compression ratio that extreme just look at Doom3 it used if i can remeber correctly 5 files for the whole game and when you loaded it up it uncompressed it. Now there was a way you could uncompress all the files and it would make it almost twice as big for a performance increase, but I tried that on my computer and I maybee got 4 or 5 fps increase. Definatley wasn't worth the effort.
