ok so here is the deal... i need to know if there is a problem with a wireless mouse/keyboard combo. does wireless mean the response will be slowed down? the mx 3100 is just wireless, while the mx 5000 is also wireless but bluetooth based, which i fear may have responsiveness problems. if you guys have either of these or know of them..... ADVISE AWAY... i look forward to your knowledge provisions... :1:

If you plan on playing CS I'd advise against a wireless mouse. Even if you have a strong connection with the mouse, a sudden hic-up from a laggy CS moment can cause your mouse to momentaraly lose connection, and, in the case of my old wireless mouse, bring up a pop up that warns you of low battery, causing CS to crash every damned time.

My wireless keyboard works like a dream though. I've had 1 or 2 problems, but they were minor and were easily fixed by letting it refind the connection. But I've picked up one of the newer logitech laser g5 mouse, and this thing smokes out every mouse I've ever used. Though, it did cost me about $75, it was worth it completely so far. The G5 even has a sensitivity adjuster right below the scroll wheel for on the fly adjustments. Really nice in CS, if I find myself in a close quarters situation I notch up the sensitivity to give me a little more speed, and slow it down if I'm sniping or in long range combat. Plus the adjustible weight is nice, since I like a heavy mouse to allow me to make small movements easier without over adjusting.

Wireless mouse = teh suck. I guess a wireless keyboard works.. but I don't see the purpose of them if you have a desk, one more chord won't make that much of a difference. I would sacrifice some other chord instead, there is always that unnecesary one...
As a side note; I remember the first generation of those things, if you had two comps with wireless 'mice' they would control eachother half the time :20: got some laughs out that at some ancient LAN event.

yea i hate my wireless mouse but as long as my batteries are running im fine... I know some of ya'll remember when i ran out of batteries and i had to run somewhere with my gun aiming to the side or in the air, while i put in new batteries :33:

What sucks is when there are no batteries in my recharger cuz i forgot to put them in, LOL! It sucks to have rechargeable batteries too, but sh*t batteries cost too much for a one charge use...

With my new computer ill be purchasing Logitech MX518, and, as for the keyboard, i might be buying a Saitek (with the keys lighting up and sh*t in the dark, since billy and i stay up till god knows when, while you puss'z sleep) keyboard, but im not sure yet. If i wont find anythign better, imma get it.
