I have 800xt now nice card but want to upgrade.I just borrowed my friends 7800gt and wasn't impressed??
So i've been doing some research and seems x1800xl overclocked beats the 7800gt overclocked.Overall i've liked ati so thinking i've seen the 7800. And allot of specs of both in different bencmarks.

i vote x1800xt

well i voted but im just an idiot who stays with ati...im afraid of change. eventhough i have given some thought to maybe going with the 6800gs since they are reasonably priced now

7800 for me... i had a radeon it wasn't as cool as nvidia when you hook up you video card to your tv.. because it cuts off part of it on the tv.. but the nvidia fits in in the tv and then on your monitor.. not the other way around like ati.. and the drivers on nvidia are better.. so i got with nvidia..

7800gt is a faster than the XL. 1800XL is SLOWER than an x850xt and muchmore than the 7800gt. I did see somewhere that they are selling 1800xT for $350 a/r which spanks the 7800gt. There is a HUGE difference between the x1800XL and x1800XT.

I've only had my 7800 running for 2 days and I already love it. I was an ATi guy myself. But yeah, my friend converted me. Since he had an uncle that works at Nvidea, and made the future promise to get me free video cards.

just so you know the 7800gt is not much if any more than $350

i used to have nvidia, then i went to an ATi all-in-wonder X800XT and i guess my next card will be an ATi, although ive read that the 7800gt is better i'd still get a 1800
