how is it possible that the average age of gamers is 30.... all the gamers i know are 20-25, but then there are a million little noobs (10-15yrs) with f*cking gamecubes.... that sh*t is BS.... what do you think??? do any of you know 40 yrs old gamers???? that is the only way for this to make sense... if there is an entire state (rhode island perhaps?) of 40 yrs old gamers....

Most MMOs are populated by older crowds...I was a part of an allegiance in an MMO where i was the youngest player of 2000 at 22...totally believable that old guys play games while they wait for the viagra to kick in

I believe it. When I started playing guild wars I went into a guild because they were pretty nice. Got around to asking how old everyone was and the oldest response was 60. (then I found out from talking to her on their vent channel that she is a women! That suprised the hell out of me. A 60 year old women gammer, who kicked everyones ass. Thats all she did all day. That and she was a crossing guard.

When I played Anarchy Online in a clan of 200ish, there was only 3 people under 20. And the oldest being 56. And the weirder part is the 56 year old women got her 30 yr old son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids into the game.

Honestly I'd rather see a higher average age. pre-teen kids that are waiting for their balls to drop are so f*cking annoying. X-Box Live, I'm looking at you.. .

yeah i kind of figured it would be a higher age.

back when i was in Highschool and the wrestling team would come back at like 1am (and i wasn't 16) we would have to wait for our parents to come pick us up. But this one kid had to have the coach take him home everytime cause back then they had dial up and the kids phone was always busy cause his dad was playing some RPG and always forgot about his son. lol

My dad is turning 40 in august. I play games with him once in a while.
