I dont know where they got their info from but that is crazy that most gamers are older.. i can see that it would be ery possible with older gen making more money and on the other hand most older fellas and women for that matter (politically correct) are married. so who knows.

yeah i kind of figured it would be a higher age.

back when i was in Highschool and the wrestling team would come back at like 1am (and i wasn't 16) we would have to wait for our parents to come pick us up. But this one kid had to have the coach take him home everytime cause back then they had dial up and the kids phone was always busy cause his dad was playing some RPG and always forgot about his son. lol

he was playing everquest

yeah well... what about all thoes console kids and f*cking 'lil poison' every god damn kid over 4 has a GBA or a Gamecube... i am sure the age of gamers is way lower on consoles, and higher on PC.... but even if we only look @ PC (which the claim did not, it was all gaming i believe), 30 is an uber old average, IDK, whatever....

It really doesn't take too many old farts like me (57) to skew the average. If I took 3 twenty year old girls (plus Cialis) , the four of us would average about 30 years of age (until I died.)

I was writing code for a tank game in Basic, long before most of you were born, on my trusty VIC20. Amazing how much fun 2K memory could provide.
