So I was checking out macromedia the other day and found out they were bought out by adobe...For some strange reason, it made me go download flash and screw around...Have any BoSS members taken a stab at this before?

PS: I may make a new avatar..and hell, if it comes out okay (based on your guys' judgement) I would love to make stuff for others.

I think Ezekiel was messing around with Flash. If I remember correctly he was uber pissed that it was NOT supported on the forums after he spent his time learning it. I may be mistaken though.

It does suck that it isn't supported, but you can export flash movies as GIFs...prolly not as good quality...

yeah, i know a lil bit of flash, and i've tried exporting things to gifs, and havent found a way to make it look decent, it might be a good time to ask, how did nova make his sig .gif?

When you finish your movie in Flash, you go to file/export/export as movie...It will let you save it as a gif.

Yeah, I've messed around with Flash on and off. I was really pissed after spending a few hours converting my signiture to a signiture media player with 3 songs on it, and spending another hours finding somewhere that would let me hot link it to put it in my sig space, to find out .swf files are prohibited from sig spaces. I know for good reasons, cause I've seen that ability abused too many times, but was really pissed.

I only have 1 finished movie, it 7 seconds long, and done frame by frame, cause I hate tweening, it never does what you want it to do, unless it's overly simplistic.

I am working, slightly on and off, on a short flash loop involving a humorous scene I've seen too many times, while playing with Ziros. I won't say anything more on it.

hmm, tried converting my sig only converted until i use alpha effects and masks, before that it got stuck

edit: just finished mine

but cant i use more colors in it, because it looks awful

edit2: tryed to fix it a litle bit, but still dont like it much

I really like that 7 second video...all you have to do is multiply it out and you have a full stick movie. ^_^
