My family got this when the dxII 66 mhz machine was the fastest you could get. Price= $2200.
Bypass Windows 3.11, and run from DOS; she would play Doom II ALL DAY. haha!
First machine I built was a 1 Ghz Athlon.......

Pentium 133 MHz
32 (later upgraded to 64) megs of ram
1.2 gig HD (no clue what brand or rpm, but it was loud)
1meg software rendering video card.(not sure on this one)
Windows 3.11, later Win 95
and a 14" screen.

The amazing thing is, I still have this comp in a closet somewhere in Sweden. And it STILL runs! That HD is so sturdy, it's over 7 years old, and still churning

Does a Vic 20 really count as a computer? I had one of them too..
and a C64 later on
VIC 20 never made it to Turkey

Well the first computer i remeber having (not my personal but w.e) was a Specter II.. dang that thing is older then like most people here.. it had one of those cassette players.. liek you could use cassettes to store data... man.. that thing was old...
do you mean sinclair spectrum? another friend had that thing. my friend didn't have any games, but had magazines that publishing games in BASIC. They also didn't know how to save games, or save BASIC programs, so they had to type whole game each time they wanted to play. hehehe. sad.
