I was thinking about dropping 50 bucks and getting a mic and the new Civilization game.

Anyone who has played the game that can let me know how it compares to the earlier ones and if it is worth the money?

wife plays it (Civ 4 we are talking about right?). its all pretty and dandy. like old Civ games but better graphics and some useless functions are removed or improved. One thing I don't understand that she always complains that game cheats so bad and hates the game, but she keeps playing it again and again. So there is your warning, this game cheats so bad and the company calls it improved AI.

That was true in easier games.

There was a time in Civ 3 where i cheated and bought a tank early in the game and a pikeman held it off...

complete bullsh*t.

just dont expect spies as they removed them from it becouse of 9-11. The game has a little more rts style to it now too. My wife hates civ with a passion ( she thinks all civ is like civ 2.....) I love the game myself, just cant find anyone to try the multiplayer with.
