and nukethemiddleeast... that may not have been the best time to comment about admins abusing power. You didn't name examples and pretty much left it open so all admins can feel targeted. Not smart.

insulin im with you on this one, some not all but some of these admins here abuse there power, im sorry you wont be able to play anymore on boss, you will be missed by everyone on the servers, good luck with your band

and yeah like rogue said, you best be giving examples before you make false claims. i know personally about 90% of the admins the play cs and rarely have i seen powers been abused. obviously mistakes have been made, but i've yet to see some abuse in a long while minus the gaara bashing session love ya gaara

Thanks for your well-wishes guys. I really do appreciate it.

There is, however, one point I would like to still bring up. Darkshadow closed the other thread (with good reason), but I think it's something that still bears mention.

Although I agree with the position that people should be allowed to voice their opinions (which many did, and I thank you for it), I also must say that this whole fiasco has in the end turned out to be rather unfair to Irisheyez. If you just stick with me for a second here, I can prove it in a way that makes perfect logical sense.

When I started the other thread, I was upset at what had happened to me. The purpose of the thread was one of discovery. What rights did I have? What was my position? What exactly were the rules? It was not a thread meant to take away, weaken, or de-establish Irisheyez standing in the community. That would serve no purpose whatsoever. Also, even though I was pissed at Irish for the muting, the original action he made broke no existing law.

Irisheyez didn't break any of the rules.

If anything, by doing what he did, he made it possible for the discussion to come about about just exactly what the rules are. I've spoken to the man before, he's a decent guy. I mean, really. He's cool. And it just doesn't sit right with me that he might be made to feel that he doesn't belong here anymore. He does. He's just as BoSS as any of us.

If you have an issue or complaint with Irisheyez, that's cool too. Discuss it. But actually discuss it. Don't go in throwing around words like "admin abuse" and whatnot. Be diplomatic about it. 'Cause, as an admin, he goes out of his way to protect us too. Even if we're not all admins, we should still support our staff on the servers. Many times when an admin burns/freezes/slays somebody for being in the sniper rooms, to which that person goes off like a bottle rocket, I jump in for the admin and tell them what rule they broke. Then I give the reasons for those rules (increased action on the server), then I say that those rules go a long way to making this a kick ass server. Usually then I invite them to join in on the process, but warn them that if they start mouthing off to the admins, they'll probably get kicked or banned pretty quick, so the choice is really theirs. That closes all doors and solves all problems, and has the admin doing his job of issuing the commands without having to explain each one to whomever feels they have been cheated.

I think everyone here wearing the BoSS tag has had their sh*t ripped by admin one time or another. Don't look always at the person that's doing it, but at the rules they are following. Present your argument against the rules (if they should happen to displease you) as that will prevent it from becoming personal. Be logical, tactical, and understanding. But most important of all, remember...

Irisheyez didn't break any existing rule. If you've got a hate-on for him, please just let it go. Not only is it not worth it, but in the end, you'll do to him the very thing that we hate the most: you'll just end up pushing him around.
