ASUS PhysX P1 Card powered by AGEIA PhysX processor 128MB PCI()[+299]
for 300 bucks what does this physics card do to your games? any videos or demonstrations? i think ghost recon is the only game that supports it but i dont think any of the videos showed it. in my opinion, you shouldnt have to spend 300 bucks for physics.

Read some of the previews.. Right now this card actually slows most of the games down..
yup. like hyperthreading and multicore CPUs do at the moment. but when they start making games that supports the hardware it will be much faster than average systems. I just hope they decide on a standard for the developing libraries, like Open GL or Direct X. otherwise it will be a mess like DVD formats.

games are getting demanding :(

The only performance gained is a little bit more "sh*t flying around" when stuff blows up. Fremerate stays about the same with a high end system.
Driver support right now seems to suck, so Itll prolly be a bit better in the near future. If such a thing can lower CPU usage enough to raise framerate due to more CPU power being dedicated to the GPU, then this may be a good idea. However, if it works out this way, graphics cards will more than likely integrate this technology.
After everything is said for $300, upgrade your videocard and or processor and you'll get a MUCH better performance gain. If you already have an fx57/60 and an 1900xtx (shadow), dont buy this and spend your money on a new monitor (shadow)
