So i got this virus

So i got this,my bad, trojan called "PCast" and my Defender pro find it but it cant remove it. I need some help it make me uncomfotable with it there. Here, i'll get a screen shot.[attachment=1678:attachment]


BTW, i have unistalled all my p2p torrent stuff and tried to remove it

Find out where it is chillin (the folder where it is) then when windows starts up, right before the windows xp thing with the scrolling thing appears hit f8 and go into safemode, then go there and delete it.. idc might work, although i don't have much exerience with spyware and viruses and stuff.. never got any :1:

The full name is "Pcast" but i forgot Defender pro has Defanitions of the viruses, here i'll put in in the screenshot this time. [attachment=1679:attachment]

i don't know try deleting the things listed in this, except i dont know about the dll's.. deleting the wrong dlls can corupt your os.. but these don't seem anything important just ones that are created by the spyware..

Well in the thing it says its in program files>pcast... but that seems too easy.. hmmm.. well check there... maybe it'll be under some other folder in program files.. but if all else fails just run a system search for those files that are listed in the thing..

heh i think regedit has somethingt to do with this..i never really new what it is. I have so many viruses right now that im just gona reset my computer. im just waiting for my brother to com,e visit cause he has all the cd and installers.

Defend pro came with a Dll scanner, i'll check and see what i find

Your antivirus is a Peace of sh*t, if your REALLY interested in a good AV, PM me on the forums... I can give you something *special*.

I think you can find it in the registry. Just search the name.
