Should I trade a 6800 Ultra (AGP) + about $100 for a 7900GT? Trying to decide if it's worth it..

sholonky we would get along just fine, me and yatzee watch that show. and yes that is bad ass. glock on the other hand

if i were in a gun fight i would much rather have my semi glock than the full auto. cause all of my shots will be accurate and he will be out in .5 secs

is the 7900 agp? Or is that just an old extra graphics card?

Do you have a motherboard that takes a pci-e graphics card? If not, then you would need a new motherboard...which would cost around another hundred bucks. If you have the Asrock board that takes both agp and pci-e, then go for it.

The 7900GT is much faster than the 6800Ultra - and a hundred bucks is not such a bad deal....maybe talk the guy down to 75 bucks.

What kind of motherboard are you using right now?

Right now my MB takes both PCI-E and AGP (it's an ASRock, flame away, but it works) but if I were selling the vid card, I'd probably upgrade to a DFI ultra-D or maybe even AM2 if I decide I hate having money (I'm leaning towards an Ultra-D, 3800+X2, the 7900GT (hey, people get 80% overclocks on air on them!), and another gig of ram (I have to give my friend his 512 stick back..). If I go AM2, it'll be another 100-200 which I think I'd rather spend on food 'cause I'm a glutton. Switching MB's is still borderline..

Kep the Asrock, its a decent board (only know this from reading reviews - not from personal experience). From what I remember, there is supposed to be an expansion socket that will come out to make it AM2 compatible.

I say go for the deal...try to talk him down to 75 bucks though, worth a shot.
