My sound card really isnt that bad, my mic is really good. i have no idea why it sounds like sh*t. when i record stuff on my pc with it it sounds good though.

It sounds really horrid on vent. try doing 'test' in the setup menu and see if you notice it. If not, I don't know what's wrong. could maybe a codec issue in your setup? ...seems like a strange problem.

now its just acting retarded...im gona tryout teams speak or some other thing to see if its only vent....but i do hear it really low when i record...

Make sure the input isn't too high or you'll be getting some digital clipping.

It doesnt sound like sh*t, it physically doesn't work. It sounds like you are outputting computer static or something. Like we can't hear your voice at all.
