Ok, so every night i turn off my computer, but i heard it stresses out the hardware. But im kinda scared if i leave it on thats somethings gonna catch fire or something, my rooms kinda damp and dusty. So am i worrying about nothing or should i continue to turn it off?

maybe put it in stanby mode? thats what i do because my dad complains if he sees it on...
