I was going to give 2142 a chance, I really was.
But after the third failed install of the demo (from 3 different sites) I said f*ck it.

The Initial views of it were pretty harsh, granted the game is somewhat original, aside from the Stolen vehicle's from Battlefield Earth movie, yes, the craptastic John Travolta flick. the game is cool and brings a new aspect to the game, but for some reason my game keeps f*cking up badly and I dunno, it isn't my system, thats a fact.

I blocked some IGA ports via my firewall, and ever since my game textures f*ckup, for example I can be flying the transport thing to cap a flag, I look at the ground and see nothing but Black, instead of snow or sand or whatever, thats my main problem, Today I played without much issue, and all it did was f*ckup at the menu, but regardless my menu buttons were gone, and so was the background of the menu... =\

any1 experience this? Ezekiel?

Not a problem. All I've had issues with is incredible lag on perfectly good servers that would not quite untill I restarted the game. (Buttery Muffin knows what I'm talking about.) Though it's random and rare.
