Chili, I'd like you to fire a machine gun at your car's fuel tank and see what happens. Mythbusters are not the ultimate source of knowledge in the universe. Just because a lit cigarette can't ignite gasoline does not mean a 2000 degree bullet can't. What about sparks from piercing metal?

yes eventually they got a tracer round to ignite a tank but it didn't really blow up


Looking at this vid though, I think they rigged the car with some boom boom other than gasoline.
