i was kind of bored today and dicided to see how accurate the awp was while you jump...its not...at all.

here is over 40 rounds fired at one location (prime fire button changed to a random key to keep from moving mouse) while i jumped.

So you expect to shoot a 15+ lb gun (empty and no scope) thats a little over 4' in length accurately while you jump?

I know, I know.. its a video game, but lets be reasonable. :peek:

serioulsy though being less than 5 feet from a target it seems like you should be able to at least keep it in a 3 foot pattern. that is just unreasonably stupid as far as innacurate goes

Well if it was completely accurate then it would make the game unfair in a sense, because people with no skill could just camp with it all round and get head shots like they are going out of style. Lucky on the BoSS servers there is no awp.

Like I've said before, this is much better than how it used to be in CS :weee:

You could run with the AWP, jump with it, it would ALWAYS hit exactly where the crosshairs were (Yes! It even had crosshairs!). It would also instakill if you got hit even in the foot. Everyone bought AWPs and used them as shotguns basically.
This was back before CS was even an official mod though... think it was changed in beta 6.1 or something like that.

Lol frag.
We need an "old school" mod so we can have the awp of death back in existence.

They do that on other servers, anyway. The weapon is extremely accurate when crouching. It's just that if the AWP was like it used to be, then people could run and jump all over the place and still clock those headshots like crazy.

Haha I have CS beta 6.1 on my comp in Sweden, it looks like shit but it's pretty fun... scoped M4 ftw!! :weee: I'd spread the love if I could access it from here.

Best fun I've had with an AWP was when the CTs were getting just ANNIHILATED, so I spawned myself an AWP and kill 4 Ts and watched a T pick it up and type, fuck yeah. And he didn't get a chance to even shoot anyone before the round was over.

Next round comes and I see the same guy type. WTF? Where'd my AWP go?

Its like that to muffle it, you'd b*tch more about it if it hit dead center, trust me.

Server #1 needs a 1 AWP per team rule... :whatever:

I did some tests kinda like this awhile back with the m4, silencer vs no silencer.. With the silencer the accuracy goes off a bit, so I've vowed to never use the damn silencer again.
