This is less of a rave and something of a rant.
I just found out some close family of mine use sites such as http://www.screenit.com as a way of making sure movies are appropriate.

Check it out, it is hilarious, they have reviews saying whether or not Sin City is good for 8 year olds.

Here is a quote talking about language:

Yeah, I read a few of them before going to work (where I am now, my how things stay the same) and I just don't get how it's funny. I wouldn't let my kids watch Sin City either.

The one you are probably thinking of chili is focus on the family. www.pluggedinonline.com is one of their sites. Almost all of the music and movie reviews are funny.

Anyway all family reviews make me laugh when they even include SinCity in the list...
An adult should be able to say, "Gee, rated R for pervasive sex and violence," maybe I shouldn't let my 8 year old watch it.
