I just found out some close family of mine use sites such as http://www.screenit.com as a way of making sure movies are appropriate.
LOL
Check it out, it is hilarious, they have reviews saying whether or not Sin City is good for 8 year olds.
Here is a quote talking about language:
"At least 4 "s" words, 6 slang terms using male genitals (variation of "d*ck," "p*cker" and "equipment"), 29 hells, 27 damns, 8 S.O.B.s, 4 asses (2 used with "hole"), 1 crap, 7 uses of "G-damn," 2 each of "Christ," "For God's sakes" and "Oh my God" and 1 use each of "Jesus," "Jesus Christ" and "Oh God."
And the "Subjects to Talk About After the Movie"
# Corruption.
# Pedophiles.
# Cannibalism (we hear that Kevin eats his victims).
# We see a villain with a swastika on his head.
# Hartigan confesses to being a child molester (something he's not) just to save a young woman's life.
:P
f*ck those guys.

Trust me, some of the reviews are hilarious.
Yeah, I read a few of them before going to work (where I am now, my how things stay the same) and I just don't get how it's funny. I wouldn't let my kids watch Sin City either.

Go die k?
Thanks.
Anyway all family reviews make me laugh when they even include SinCity in the list...
An adult should be able to say, "Gee, rated R for pervasive sex and violence," maybe I shouldn't let my 8 year old watch it.

Haha, Justin, you play DOTA too? Ha, didn't know, but while I think the idea is not bad, Buttery is right that no good parent in their right mind would ever consider showing sin city to an 8 year old.
Yeah, me, Shadow and Buttery play.
And you'd be surprised the sh*t kids see and hear. My 8 year old cousin knows Akon - Smack That by heart. Then again, I've played CSS with my 12 and 9 year old cousins watching. Sooo....
