New opinion question

I've done this about 3 or 4 times. usually once or twice a year, I sell my system, and buy a brand new system.
The question is, what do you do with a gaming system that is still decent, but not top of the line?
Since I live in a city with about a million people, I first try to list it in the local bargain finder (classifieds). If all else fails (and I mean all else lol), I sell it on EBAY with no reserve, .01 cent listing.
As you all know, you can buy $2000 worth of parts, build it, and top dollar for your machine will fetch $1000 if you're lucky....
What do you do with your old gaming systems?

3200+, 1gb corsair, x800xt, 430w thermaltake psu, burner for my HTPC project. Gonna try and wedge it in a 2U server chassis with a little modification.
^^
Plenty powerfull enough to keep around forawhile and filter all my new old parts through it. I imagine itll be sporting an FX55 in 6 months or so

you can never have to many servers or misc boxes
i use one of my old ones as what i call a media wh*re
which all i do is burn cd/dvd's on and do all my hardcore video encoding on that would normally slow down my main box
....or if you are cheap sell parts on ebay or to friends

I still have a functional Pentium 133mhz HP Desktop (Win 95 ftw!!) packed into my closet at my dad's in Sweden. Don't get much use of it these days, but I still have it

It's a 2.2ghz P4, 768 MB RD-RAM, Radeon 8500 128MB Vid card, 60gig Seagate 7200RPM HD w/ 8MB cache, built in sound card to the mobo.
The PC is from fall of '02 as a late graduation gift. It still runs smooth and quiet.
