So for some reason my friend's PC has downloaded 140GB of Windows Defender definitions into a hidden folder under his documents and settings folder

I want to delete them but windows won't let me into the folder without crashing out (presumably due to the size of the files)
I have tried XLdelete and it freezes too. Any software I could use or suggestions for getting rid of 140 GB from a folder on your drive?

YEah i know crazy huh? There were 30 thousand update folders in that b*tch.

What I ended up doing is hooking his drive up to my machine and using my OS to delete the folders, 5000 at a time through the recycle bin.

Down to 15000 files left and it seems to be working.

Weird problem.

still think reformat woulda made more sense
prolly a virus or bug in windows that fills a folder till you lose space, but wasnt counting on allowing 140 GB's
