Well i sold my computer last week for 250.00 without my video card so i had to build a new one..After hours apon hours of reading i came up with this.
I re-used my dvd drive,sata drive and video card=1800xt 512@700\800

cpu =e6300
motherboard=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138037 hopefully ill be able to get the 500fsb.
ram=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231088
power supply-=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817709004
with a cheap case

I wanted the best bang for the buck i think i did that ...and lets all hope for at least 80% overclock!!!

Nice stuff. That RAM is OOS, so unless you bought it already, Id spend a little extra, and go for this G.Skill HZ The newest revisions of the HZ mem use the Micron D9 chips on them, which overclock like mad. 500mhz 1:1 should be no problem for this stuff.

The PK sticks have ProMos chips on them, they may not OC so well, but it should do well for you. Even if you have to run a divider that shouldnt be much of a problem.

Well it all worked like butter.I'm happy with my overclock all stable 3.5 90% overclock!!The funny thing is that i was all set to format then my old windows started up and installed everything so i didnt even lose a setting.

some benchmarks

super-pi 1meg=16sec old score=28sec
3d mark06=5800 old score 4000
3d mark 05=11500 old score 10000

I'm going to re-download 3d mark05 and update again.
400$ Upgrade from single core amd3200 winchester to this worth every cent and extra bonus great overclock and kept my old windows.

3.5 at what voltage? 3.5 is very solid! (also, temps, cooler, pics!!!)

Also, promos OC pretty well, just picky about voltage compared to D9s. if you overvolt too much they don't work, and they run a bit cooler than D9s. D9s are still teh king, but promos is a close second. Elipidas just suck (from my experience). god do I hate elipida right now...

How'd you manage that? 1800xts are worth ~160 now... Does this mean I should be finding someone to trade for my 1900xtx straight up? :D /end jealous rant

Definitely making me more impatient for my PSU.. should be this week!
