I've been playing the sh*t out of this demo on the 360 and I am so addicted to this game. I'm going to pick it up on the 20th, when it arrives.

Has anyone else tried it out?

I've played it, my brother has xbox 360, and I have to admit, its like GTA on steroids, its pretty damn fun, and the graphics are nice and sharp, my bro is getting it also for the halo3 multiplayer beta.

They're a form of cell shading. It keeps the graphics workload low so you can have all that other stuff going on.

I suggest you play Co-Op, though, it's way more fun. I'll look you up tonight if you wanna.

Well, I tried it out tonight, and I must say it is quite fun.

I expect to enjoy this greatly in the near future.

Anyone else get it today?

This game is great. I've been playing it almost every chance I've gotten. I know it's gonna be short (i'm about 50% through) but the co-op is awesome.

I'm playing on Ruthless and the game is hard as hell on it. I die so much from grenades and rockets.

Any game that tries to copy GTA sucks.

End of story.

Plus the fact that you're playing as a cop. This wouldn't be a problem but if you kill too many people, other police cars come after you.

I'd rather kill the f*cking pigs than be one myself.

It doesn't copy GTA.

It copies mercenaries.

It definitely copies GTA, you are in a city with several weapons and can kill anyone, and can steal any car, it's a low-budget futuristic GTA clone.

And BTW it even uses the SAME engine as GTA, it disgusting.

Mercenaries is nothing like Crackdown. Mercenaries was more like a single player endless battle of BF2 where you were the commander; you could run around the country and call in artillery, cars, etc...

Well this happens when one game has something or does something that people like, it gets coped, reused or improved by that company or others. This eventually leads into the development of a bunch of sh*ty copes of the games that no one likes. This continuous until a better variation of the original game is improved on (maybe by a different company) or people lose interest. So basically there are only a few original games out there that "Set the bar" for other games to add too improve on. :dork:

I had this huge rant ready to post about how ignorant and stupid you are, Chris, but then I decided it's not worth it. Just get the f*ck out of my thread until you have something intelligent to say.

On another note, if anyone wants to play co-op, just send me a friend invite (JustinSane07) and we'll pwn face.
