I haven't had any problems wiht playing music in vista. I have 0 with any DRM on it (hell, I'm not gonna pay for my own music)FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T GET VISTA! Unless you've always/plan to always pay for music, then don't get vista. Unless the media file has a electronic license, then vista wont play it. You can't use any anti virus software that Microsoft doesn't allow, and it's a resource hog, making all that shiny new hardware lots less effective for gaming.
Also, remember to manually set your ram speeds. For DDR2 800, that board usually defaults the speeds to 400mhz.

I agree with monster.. vista isn't all that bad.. its pretty much XP2.. everything is basically the same as in XP but it has 64 bit support and dx10 support.. which is why i'll upgrade to vista when i build my new computer since i'll need both of them...Don't just repeat what you read, or hear from skeptics.... lol
Vista isn't as bad as you all make it sound. Kaspersky has a new version that works exactly the same with vista as xp.
An MP3 is an MP3.... don't worry about DRM.... unless you buy music and then copy it around alot..... If you just steal it anyways, then no problems.
As for resources... yeah it requires more than XP. Probably half of BoSS members have rigs that are powerful enough to run games on Vista....

What case would you suggest then? I want something with plenty of room and look's nice for my (few) LAN parties.I would recommend not getting a tsunami. Pretty bad airflow and gets a lot of dust-clog really fast. Also TT lies on fan sound tests, so just get some yate-loons or something quieter. That thing will be LOUD.
With the P5N-E, I really like mine, but it does have a pretty big vdroop. There's a mod to fix it, but it's a bastard and a half (I'll do it later, I'm sure). Make sure to get the newest bios ASAP. The one it ships with is crap.
Should be a very solid build, though! Enjoy!

Not if you just wait for the next Windows OS planned to release either the end of this year of the beginning of next. The only thing keeping me back from Vista is the software that won't allow illegal programs. Mostly every thing I use is illegal. Not that i like it, its just there's no point in hating it if you're going to have to switch to it eventually..
I mean if you want to continue playing games in the future, you'll have to upgrade to it..
