Anyone still play Doom 2?
Just in my opinion, its the best game ever made. I still play it, and the millions of extra maps made for it.
If any of you want to play it on a WinXP system, get Zdoom (you'll need the .wad files).

Doom 2 is what got me into gaming.

only doom ive played was 1 but i was going to buy doom3 but the game was way to dark so you need a flashlight everywhere you go and the monsters in the game are so lame and over used like floating sculls that are on fire. have some damn origiality doom

The floatin skulls on fire are from Doom 2 btw
But I agree the first Doom is originality in a nutshell. I don't remember which game got me into gaming.. was so long ago But Doom certainly was one of the first.

I had doom 3 but it was too much of a beast for my computer and i didnt like the multiplayer with only 4 ppl.

I never played Doom 2, but 1 was by far the best between it and 3. I've got three, and for those who haven't played it.....you are not really misssing anything. The graphics are ok, but the flashlight switching and the fact there are so many things with passwords that you have to listen to these boring messages is what really made me stop playing it. I hear the new expansion pack actually has the flashlight mounted to the weapons.....at least they fixed one thing

no but i play doom 3 all the time. i love these horror like fps. i get tired of shooting people but when you can shoot demons and thing like that, doom is great. i never played doom 1 or 2, i hear theyre great games tho

I just played it yesterday. One of the greatest games of all time and the first computer game i ever played. It was mario, G.I. Joe, then Doom :)
