Hello,

I can clearly see the 4 gigs worth of CS:S files sitting in the steamapps directory, but even through restarts and deleting clientregistry.blob and steam.dll, steam simply does not want to recognize the fact that I have this game, and it is installed, as it had previously thought only 4 hours ago. God I hate Steam, they're just so unbelievably terrible. Yesterday it decided to rebind all my settings to defaults. Today it decides it doesn't like the version of CS:S I have, so it ignores it and downloads all 4 gigs of it again.

Any fix for this? Anybody have this problem?

Thanks,
FreAk

It's just steam being a douche, it does that to me every time I put the pc on stand by. Just restart steam and/or your computer.

Restarting steam, restarting the computer, neither of them worked. I did it several times.
