i dont mean having that as a "rule". I think if there were a way to make auto-assign the ONLY option, it would be nice. Pretty sure it would be tough to do, though...

i have played on servers where they took the option
to choose away and only auto assign was avail so it
can be done.. i dunno how or how difficult it is but it
is possible.

Coulden't the player just wait till there was an empty slot on the team they wanted to be on before they pushed the auto assign button?
If auto assign just places the person on the team that is short a player I don't see where it would be very effective.

the main thing is that it would force the teams to be somewhat random from the start, alleviating the initial team stacking.

It's kinda sad we have to take away everyones choice in order to fix this problem...
Let me just say, I hope it doesnt come to that.

If you think about it, if someone is a terrible player and they want to be on the T's, let them cause it sure wont do a whole lot to have them sucking on the CT when all the CT's side needs is a good player. That's the last thing CT side wants, another sucky player.

I think all BoSS members should be mature enough, making the teams fair.

That's just my opinion. I wont like only having an auto switch, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

ha ha... stoned man.... the score is 38 - 10 for the t's. The ct's only have 2 or maybe 3 guys with positive scores.....


In this case, there were no admins, and the t's just laughed when I said, "stacked teams?" It's not a huge deal, I don't take the game all too seriously, but there are a bunch of dickheads that are more worried about their rank than anything else in the world. Reminds me of that guy that had two accounts and was up all night killing himself, or his friend, and checking his rank.... lol.


Maybe disabling server rank will stop all this bullsh*t, that's why these pricks stack the teams in the first place, right?

I think that disabling the server rankings would solve alot of the stacking problem but also discourage alot of people from playing on the server.
I think the most reasonable way to deal with the problem is to have admins switch some people up when it becomes stacked.

That would be the ideal solution, Fade. But the other issue is coming up with a system to enforce the policy that admins should keep the teams balanced. As it stands now, there are still a few admins that I've played with that are enjoying the benefits of team stacking, despite posting that they would do otherwise in the other team stacking thread.

Sometimes it's easier said then done. I do switch people around and basically play CTs permanently. But sometimes you gotta understand. Stopping every 2 rounds to attempt to balance the teams, while putting up with all the bitching from people that you switch and the bitching from retarded Ts thinking they deserve money. It gets old. I'm a full time student and have a full time job. I usually go on CS:S to relax and stopping for a round every few rounds to switch people and listen to them bitch gets old. Not to say I refuse to do my job, just saying it gets old ither way.

i think everyone is getting a little worked up about the teams. its not like they are allways stacked, it happens every once in a while for an hr on so. by reading these posts one would think that t's allways dominate all the time, and that is not the case. i play every day at diff times and the teams are not that big of a deal.

Well in the last week or so everytime i've been on and the teams we're stacked the admins have been doing a pretty good job of moving people around. So to them I say job well done.
